Workshop is free. If you wish to take a barrel home with you the cost is $60 (Gunpowder Valley Conservancy members $50); cost includes rain barrel and assembly kit. Among the fun original songs are “Once Upon A Time in the USA”, that take the audience back before the time of DVD’s, microwaves, and Happy Meals, “Yaw, Pitch and Roll”, a tribute to the Wright Brothers, “Thingamajig”, a caveman’s hilarious reaction to what he feels is a silly invention, the car. Children and adults are called on to help the cast demonstrate how an assembly line works and participate in other parts of the production, including answering that perplexing question - “What is a Whojimabobb?”
